WFPHA has 123 Members from around the world including national public health association Members, regional association Members representing both public health associations (PHAs) and schools of public health (SPHs), sustaining Members and Partners. The alliance between PHAs and SPHs began in 2004 at WFPHA’s 10th International Congress held in Brighton, England.
At this time the schools and faculties that are members are: Association of Schools of Public Health in Africa (ASPHA), Federation of African Medical Students Associations (FAMSA), Council of Academic Public Health Institutions Australia (CAPHIA), Networks of Schools & Programs of Population and Public Health (Canada), Association of Schools of Public Health in the European Region (ASPHER), Accreditation Agency for Study Programmes in Health and Social Sciences (AHPGS), The International Federation of Medical Students Associations (IFMSA), Graduate Institute of International and Development Studies (Switzerland), Faculty of Public Health of the Royal College of Physicians (United Kingdom), International Association of National Public Health Institutes (IANPHI), International Pharmaceutical Students' Federation (IPSF).

WFPHA’s Members represent a diverse population of public health professionals working as nurses, sanitarians, administrators, physicians, health educators, pharmacists, anthropologists, and researchers, among many others. WFPHA's Members are presented below. Current partners with a mutual membership are : the International Federation of Environmental Health (IFEH), the International Association of National Public Health Institutes (IANPHI), the International Epidemiological Association (IEA), the European Forum for Primary Care and Health Care without Harm.
